We are recruiting on behalf of our client, in the Freight and forwarding industry, a dynamic logistics provider specializing in global freight forwarding solutions.
The company is renowned for delivering reliable, efficient, and cost-effective freight services—covering air, sea, and road—tailored for commercial clients across diverse sectors.
As the freight forwarding industry becomes increasingly competitive and customer expectations rise, International Freight Services is seeking to strengthen its market reach through the recruitment of a driven and results-oriented Logistics and Freight Forwarding Sales Agent. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in acquiring new B2B clients, presenting customized freight solutions, and driving sustainable revenue growth. You will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospecting and solution presentation to deal closure and client retention. In this role, you’ll work closely with the operations and customs clearance teams to ensure that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.This opportunity is ideal for a proactive, self-motivated sales professional with a strong understanding of international shipping and a passion for client engagement in the logistics sector.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Aggressively pursue and secure new commercial clients in need of global freight forwarding and logistics services
• Promote a reliable and cost-effective logistics partner across air, sea, and road freight solutions
• Develop customized proposals that align with client logistics needs and highlight the company’s competitive edge in service efficiency and value
• Manage the entire sales process ,from lead generation and client qualification to solution presentation, negotiation, and deal closure
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring rapid response to inquiries and a consistently high level of service delivery
• Collaborate with internal teams including operations, documentation, and customs clearance to ensure accurate service execution
• Maintain accurate and up to date client records, sales reports, and pipeline activity using CRM tools
• Analyze logistics market trends and client shipping behavior to uncover new sales opportunities and refine outreach strategies
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to drive loyalty, repeat business, and referrals
• Consistently meet or exceed individual and team sales targets to support the company’s strategic growth objectives in a competitive market

Qualifications and Experience

Key Requirements & Qualifications
• 2–4 years of proven success in sales within the logistics or freight forwarding industry
• Experience working with international and regional clients is highly preferred
• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Development, or a related field
• Certifications in freight forwarding, shipping, or customs brokerage (e.g., FIATA, IATA, or equivalent) are an added advantage
• In-depth understanding of freight forwarding operations across air, sea, and road transport
• Familiarity with Incoterms, international shipping regulations, and customs clearance procedures
• Demonstrated ability to source and convert B2B leads, close large-volume deals, and meet aggressive monthly/quarterly targets
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including proposal writing and formal presentations
• Strong client management, negotiation, and solution-selling skills
• Ability to quickly analyze client needs and offer tailored, cost-effective logistics solutions

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, or HubSpot)
• Ability to use digital sales tools and online freight calculators
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages (especially French or Portuguese) are a plus for cross-border client engagement
• Trustworthy, dependable, and client-focused, with a high level of personal integrity
• A valid driver's license is mandatory for field visits, client meetings, and regional business development
