Job Description
A roller shutter installer is responsible for installing and maintaining roller shutter garage doors in commercial and residential buildings. Their primary role is to ensure that the shutters are safely and efficiently installed and meet the customer's requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Validating the accuracy of installation plans and material requirements before starting the installation process
Providing customers with detailed instructions on how to operate and maintain their roller shutters.
Maintaining accurate records of installations and repairs, including customer information, installation details, and material usage
Working with sales representatives to provide technical expertise and advice on shutter installations for potential customers.
Maintaining a clean and organized work area and ensuring that tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Driving to installation sites and ensuring that all necessary tools and materials are transported safely and securely
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Vocational training or apprenticeship
Certifications or licenses in relevant technical fields
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in installing, repairing, and maintaining roller shutters garage doors.
