Job Description
We are looking for a senior management candidate with 8+ years of experience to oversee daily operations, maximize sales and minimize costs. Knowledge in sales, marketing, and inventory control is required. The goal is to boost revenues and business development.
Duties and Responsibilities
The Retail Manager's key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
●Managing Store Operations:
- Organizing, planning, and implementing strategies in coordination with the assistant manager .
- Overseeing retail store operations, including the sales of technology products and electrical supplies.
- Organize all store operations and allocate responsibilities to personnel
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
●Product Knowledge and Retail Environment:
- Having a sound knowledge of technology products and the current retail environment.
- Being familiar with the types of products being sold and staying updated on industry trends, especially in the electrical supplies sector.
●Promotional Activities and Displays
- Preparing promotional materials and displays to showcase electrical supplies.
- Liaising with the head office for promotional strategies and materials.
●Team Management:
- Coordinating and ensuring the efficiency of retail store employees.
- Providing support for day-to-day tasks and taking over most responsibilities in the absence of the store manager.
●Compliance and Prohibited Duties:
- Ensuring compliance with state and federal laws regarding prohibited duties for workers, especially in the context of electrical supplies and technology products.
Qualifications and Experience
At least 8 years' experience in a senior management position in a retail organisation.
- Masters in MBA, Retail or any related field.
- Knowledge of Retail Management best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizing and leadership skills
Commercial awareness
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Excellent knowledge of retail management software (Sage Evolution)
-Class 4 driver's licence
-35+ years of age.
