Job Description

The Reservationist is responsible for managing guest reservations and inquiries across multiple communication platforms, including email, WhatsApp, and phone. The role involves ensuring an efficient and seamless booking experience using the APEX Reservations System, responding promptly to guest inquiries, and maintaining excellent customer relations through follow-up calls. The Reservationist acts as a key point of contact for guests, delivering high-quality service that aligns with the organization’s standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries via email, WhatsApp, and phone.
Process reservations accurately using the APPEX Reservations System, ensuring all details are recorded and confirmed.
Make follow-up phone calls to guests to confirm reservations, clarify requirements, and provide additional assistance.
Provide information on services, room availability, rates, and special packages to prospective guests.
Address guest concerns or requests efficiently to ensure a positive experience.
Collaborate with other team members to resolve booking or system-related issues.
Maintain updated records of bookings, cancellations, and guest preferences.
Assist in upselling additional services or amenities to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications and Experience

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a professional and courteous tone.
Proficiency in managing emails and instant messaging platforms like WhatsApp.
Experience with reservation systems, particularly APEX, is preferred.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple guest interactions efficiently.
Customer-focused mindset with problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
Prior experience in the hospitality industry or customer service is an advantage.
