Job Description
Zimbabwe School of Mines is soliciting for bids from reputable companies, registered with Procurement Regulatory Authority of Zimbabwe to satisfy the following procurement requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities
ZSM 014. Consultant-Board Management induction and training.
ZSM 015. Printing Services: A5 Booklets [specifications: cover and inside pages binded together, stapled binding, glossy paper] (Qty - 200), Trifold brochure [specifications: A4 Glossy] (Qty – 1000), A5 flyers [specification: glossy] (Qty – 100), Business cards 90x50 [Specifications: printed on synacotte](Qty – 400).
ZSM 016. Equipment Repair: Service and repair a pellet pressing machine. [Specifications: Visit to see the machine before quoting] (Qty – 1), Fabricate 3 pellet pressing dies. [Specification: Come and get a sample/take measurements at the school](Qty – 1).
ZSM 017. Services of an Evaluator. [Specifications: To evaluate 2 vehicles and a tractor plus 2-disc ploughs that need to be disposed of].
ZSM 018. Training Services for 16 participants on ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001 management system Development and implementation.
ZSM 019. Air Conditioner Servicing – Library (Qty – 1).
ZSM 020. Repairs to one oil-leaking cooking industrial pot (Qty – 1), Repairs /enlargement to element holes on the cooking pot [Supply and fit] (Qty – 1).
ZSM 021. Screen doors [Specifications: square tube framed and supported with deformed bars] (Qty – 4), Bulgar bars supported with small boxed mash sheets. [Specifications: Square tubes framed and supported, then fit a small boxed mash] (Qty – 12), Buglers only [Specifications: Framed with 12mm deformed round bars and supported with 10mm deformed round bars] (Qty - 3b).
ZSM 022. Cleaning Services: ZSM is looking for a cleaning company to provide deep cleaning of two classes. [Specifications: Cleaning of floors, walls, window panes and seals. Most work to be done will be determined on the site visit day, which will be on the 19th of January 2024 at 10.30 am at the school].
ZSM 023. Fuel tracking system for all ZSM pool cars and personal issued.
ZSM 024. Freestanding metal sign (by the gate directing traffic to the lab) [Specification: 1m x2.4m] (Qty – 1), Metal signs on the fence (one for the big gate, one for smaller one) [Specifications: 1m x 2m] (Qty – 2).
ZSM 025. Aluminum kettle 5litres (Qty – 1), Food cover net umbrella (Qty – 4), Porcelain sugar basin (Qty – 4), Dustpan (Qty – 2), Soft broom (Qty – 2), Mops (Qty – 2) [Samples required upon submission].
ZSM 026. Printing Services: Banner flags – [Specifications: 4m Concave double-sided, local spike and bag (Qty – 4), Roller banners: Snake fabric design [specifications: Full-Color Print Fabric and Stand System (Qty -4), A4 Literature brochure stand – [Specifications: Z –Up] (Qty – 2), Pop Up /Pop Out Banners – [Specifications: Horizontal double sided print] (Qty – 2).
ZSM 027. Printing Services: A5 Booklets – [Specifications: Cover and inside pages binded together, staple binding, glossy paper ] (Qty – 400), Tri-fold brochures -A4 glossy (Qty – 6000).
Qualifications and Experience
Bidders should satisfy the following requirements:
1. Attach copy of tax clearance.
2. Attach requisite PRAZ documents (Relevant category)
3. Attach certificate of Incorporation
4. Quote in both currencies, ZWL & USD
5. Delivery period should be stated
6. Payment methods should be indicated
7. Bid validity
8. Quotations valid for 30 days
9. Quotations must be vat inclusive.
NB: Failure to submit the above requirement will lead to disqualification
How to Apply
Quotations should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly indicating the Procurement Reference number. All quotations are to be placed in the tender box situated at ZSM administration block or sent through our PMU email address: pmu@zsm.co.zw, on or before the closing date indicated above at 16.30pm sharp.
