Job Description
Zimbabwe School of Mines is soliciting for bids from reputable companies, registered with the procurement regulatory authority of Zimbabwe to satisfy the following procurement requirements:
Duties and Responsibilities
ZSM 003. Branded note pads A5 [sample required] (Qty 100).
ZSM 004. Laptop Repairs: 1. HP elite book 840G1[OCP-873] Fan replacement (Qty 1), 2. HP EliteBook 840G1(OCP-872) Broken hinge and USB ports not functioning (Qty 1), 3. HP probook 450G4 Broken Hinge, damaged screen and cover (Qty 1).
ZSM 005. Hydrofluoric acid 5litres (Qty 4), Perchloric Acid 5 litres (Qty 4).
ZSM 006. Parafilm (colorless, thermoplastic,strachable), Roll of 76,20m length (Qty 10 rolls).
ZSM 007. Dickies pellet, press die set [34mm 15-25tonne] (Qty 4 sets), XRF pellet holding vessel (Qty 25 vessels), XRF pellet, S 8 tiger, series 34mm dia (Qty 25 vessels).
ZSM 008. Air Conditioner servicing (Qty 1).
ZSM 009. Service and calibration of Wensar scale 6000x 0.1g (Qty 1), Service and calibration of Analytical balance 220gx0.0001g FA 2204 E 150kg (Qty 1), Service and calibration of Mickey Mouse scale (Qty 1), Service, calibration and repairs of Micro YH -T3 300kg X 0.05kg (Qty 1). [Samples are required upon submission].
ZSM 010. Tray with handles stainless steel (60cmx40cm) (Qty 2), Weighing boat stainless steel 70mm (Qty 2) , Prill boxes plastic (Qty 50), Weighing dishes 140ml (Qty 2), Chata weigh spatula 155mm (Qty 6), Permanent markers (boxes) (Qty 4), Flux mixing bags (Qty 1000).
ZSM 011. 2,5mm 3core flexible (inside cable must 2.5mm thick) (Qty 200m), 3x6 surface boxes (Qty 20), Mirror tape 2.3mmx20m (Qty 50m), Insulation tape (Qty 3 big rolls), 6mm fisher plugs (Qty 100), 4x30mm chipboard screws (Qty 100).
ZSM 012. Concrete table slab 175cmx120cm (Qty 1), Extraction system (Qty 1), [Site visit to be on the 15th January 2024].
ZSM 013. Branding/Signage: Freestanding metal sign (by the gate directing traffic to the lab) [1m x2.4m] (Qty 1), Metal signs on the fence (one for the big gate, one for smaller one)[1m x 2m](Qty 2).
Qualifications and Experience
Bidders should satisfy the following requirements:
1. Attach copy of tax clearance.
2. Attach requisite PRAZ documents (Relevant category)
3. Attach certificate of Incorporation
4. Quote in both currencies, ZWL & USD
5. Delivery period should be stated
6. Payment methods should be indicated
7. Bid validity
8. Quotations valid for 30 days
9. Quotations must be vat inclusive.
NB: Failure to submit the above requirement will lead to disqualification
How to Apply
Quotations should be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly indicating the Procurement Reference number. All quotations are to be placed in the tender box situated at ZSM administration block or sent through our PMU email address: pmu@zsm.co.zw, on or before the closing date indicated above which is end of day.
