Job Description

Job Purpose
Cassava Smartech is looking for a competent Reporting Analyst to join its Finance team. The
main purpose of the role is to provide business analysis skills to support effective planning and decision making and to effect changes to Econet life business processes and systems, as well as compiling, evaluating and reporting on Econet Life progress and performances.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conducts research on Econet Life business environments and produces a SWOT analysis report.
• Identifies and evaluates data related to business performance and submits a report to the Market Research Manager.
• Reviews the performance against agreed strategies after implementation and advises on necessary business alignment interventions
• Provides business assumptions for financial planning purposes and submits a report to the Market Research Manager
• Compiles and updates daily business performance reports
• Analyses and make recommendations on business performance Vs set goals weekly.
• Collates weekly business regulatory reports
• Develops and updates performance metrics to evaluate progress toward achieving Econet Life targets.
• Develops and updates financial and statistical-based models to analyse business performance trends
• Reviews Econet Life Partners performance against business targets.
• Analyses Corridor and Channel Partner activity and trends and submits a weekly report.
• Reviews and evaluates Econet Life marketing and sales promotions.
• Provides input into weekly/monthly management operations review presentation and submits to the Market Research Manager
• Develops and updates Econet Life dashboards to track the performance of key performance indicators
• Analyses business processes and makes recommendations to align with business plan.
• Produces, process, review reports and maintains business processes documentation
• Participates in Cassava business improvement initiatives
• Coordinates relevant stakeholders in defining scope of Econet Life business requirements
• Co-ordinates Econet Life projects and liaises with internal and external stakeholders in line with project plan.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification, Skills and Experience
• A degree in statistics, finance or equivalent
• 1 - 2 years financial services and Reporting experience
• Exposure to IT environment
• Interpersonal skills demonstrated by the ability to interact at all levels within the organisation and with external parties.
• Understanding of financial concepts
• Project Management
• Analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills
• Communications skills, both in terms of written (documentation) and verbal)
