Job Title: Registry Clerk

Incumbent Superior 1* Level: Registry supervisor
Subordinates: None
Implement the index and filing system in order to control the opening of files and location of all files
• Recommend effective records management systems to ensure quick retrieval of information
• Monitor the mark out system of all files to ensure easy location of files
• Control incoming and outgoing of mail to facilitate efficient receiving and dispatching of mail for effective communication
• Offerinduction and on-the-job training to newly appointed registry staff to ensure that they fully understand the way to carry out their activities and improve their performance thereby increasing productivity
• Order stationery and maintain reorder level to ensure smooth supply of resources
• To prepare file covers for all new policyholders and endorse the names and policy numbers
• Open and close files
Competences
• Registry Qualification
• A Diploma in Registry or any related degree is required
• A minimum of 2 years' experience.
• Data Analytical and reporting skills will be an added advantage.
