The incumbent shall be responsible to supervise the registry and record management system according to applicable standards.
• Creating, updating, implementing and monitoring SOPs as related to records and information management.
• Keeping correct records inventory for reference and audit check using logbooks or computers.
• Archiving outdated information to inactive storage according to file maintenance guidelines and/or legal requirements.
• Disposing irrelevant information records according to Company Policy and/or Legal requirements.
• Performing periodic inspections and supervision of files within other departments in order to ensure correct placement, legibility and proper condition in collaboration with departmental heads.
• Training personnel in record management within the Organisation in liaison with the Training Office.
• Minimum of a Diploma in Archives and/or Records Management/ Information Science
• At least 2 years’ hands on experience in record management in a government set up or
comparable environment.
• Conversant in the filling system.
• Good analytic skills.
• Attentive to detail.
• Excellent organization skills.
• Team player.
