Reporting to the Operations Director, the successful candidate will among aspects beresponsible for
Drafting and implanting sales and business strategies for the Business Unit
Delivering T/O, volume, cost and profit margins by branch in the region
Feasibility studies for new branch opportunities to ensure business growth in the business unit
Ensure supplier and product listing is done properly in line with set standards
Ensure all products are competitively prices and 100% stock availability in all stores
Controlling spend and building a culture of long term spending on operational cost
Grow hardware business unit market share
Manage assets, performance and discipline in the business
Ensure superior customer service and maintain business units customer relationships
Lead staff initiative capabilities
Their job description entails determining the mode of operation that is undertaken by the chain of stores under their supervision, ensuring that each and every one of them follow company rules and guidelines when carrying out their routine activities.
It also involves ensuring that the stores run smoothly and meet stipulated targets that are set for them.
Relevant first degree
Proven work experience as a Sales Manager
Thorough knowledge of the Zimbabwe hardware, wholesale and retail markets
Strong negotiation and deal closing skills
