Job Description

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced people to fill the following posts that have arisen at Masvingo City.

Records Clerk (1 Post)
DEPARTMENT : Engineering Services
GRADE: 10
REPORTS TO: Departmental Secretary

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include among others
Typing for all Section Heads
Records keeping including filing
Processing of water and sewer connections
Recording incoming and outgoing mail
Receiving reports of pipe bursts and sewer blockages
Photocopying forms for the department
Costing of labour and transport
Acting for Departmental Secretary during her absence
Receptionist duties
Any other duties as may be assigned by the Departmental Secretary

Qualifications and Experience

Attributes and Qualifications
A minimum of five '0' Level passes with a grade C or better in English Language.
Degree/Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies/Office Management or equivalent qualification.
Computer literacy.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Ability to work with the public.
Good telephone etiquette.
Minimum of five years' experience in a related field.
