Duties and Responsibilities

Records And Information Assistant - Bulawayo
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assists with the maintenance of a records management system for the regional office
• Assists Business Partners in registering their companies for purposes of levy collection
• Creates various files, maintains the files and ensure easy retrieval when needed
• Maintains an up to date register of the regional records
• Maintains a filling index for easy identification of documents Ensures safekeeping of all records and maintains confidentiality
• Assists in raising awareness to clients on the mandate of the Fund and the need to register Identifies and recommends for archiving regional records in accordance with the establisher retention schedule and policy
• Ensures secure custody of all regional records and monitors movement of all records
• Endeavours to turn all inquiries into potential registrations for purposes of revenue growth
• Attempts to resolve clients queries in a timeous manner and escalates when necessary

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Competencies and Work Experience
• Degree in Records and Information Science/Records and Archives Management
• Good knowledge of SAP Records Management is essential
• At least two years' experience in a similar position
