Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Estimate and quantify joinery, aluminium, and associated works from plans, specifications, and site visits
- Prepare and manage project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts
- Analyze and compare tender documents, contracts, and project requirements
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify variations, and assess potential costs
- Collaborate with project managers to optimize project delivery, costs, and quality
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market rates, and emerging technologies
Qualifications and Experience
Have a:
Degree or diploma in Quantity suveyor at least 3 years work experience
.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in joinery, fit-out, or construction
- Strong understanding of joinery, aluminium, and associated works
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and technical drawings
- Excellent estimating, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication, negotiation, and project management skills
- Proficient in MS excel, Ms projects, Ms word
