Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons to fill the above three-year closed contract position of Quality Assurance Manager at a Harare based veterinary and public health chemicals manufacturing company. The contract may be renewed subject to good performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Develops, implements and maintains integrated programs and systems that guarantee compliance to cGIv1P, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and 150 45000. • Co-ordinates internal and external audits. • Gives technical advice on product development in compliance with regulatory requirements related to the quality of finished products and driving the roadmap to cGMP compliance. • Approves incoming materials and releases finished product for sale. • Coordinates teams to formulate and implement strategies for development and maintenance of high-quality standards. • Supports other departments with technical expertise towards product and process improvement including process validations. • Prepares registration dossiers, new product registrations and product stability studies. • Monitors field trials and pharmacovigilance.
Qualifications and Experience
• Membership to a relevant professional body such as Zimbabwe Council of Veterinary Surgeons. • Registration license with the Medicines C9trol Authority of Zimbabwe will be an added advantage. • A minimum of three years post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical, veterinary or-related manufacturing industry.
