Job Purpose
Cassava Smartech is looking for a versatile and dynamic Quality Assurance Manager to join its Sasai team. The main purpose of the position is to develop, implement and support the integrated enterprise Quality Management Program that covers technically complex areas of testing, including test automation, performance and load testing. The role exists to ensure timely delivery of product features, enhancements and bug fixes with the highest quality that will delight end users.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities
• Recommends quality management framework and quality assurance framework / automation architecture.
• Recommends the quality assurance strategic and corporate aims for the business.
• Formulates test plan including systems analysis, risk analysis, dependency analysis, writing and report test strategy and defect reporting (pre/post-production).
• Develops and implements group-wide quality assurance strategy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of quality assurance program.
• Reviews quality assurance policies and procedures on annual basis and as and when required.
• Plans, designs and oversees implementation of quality assurance solutions, bug tracking platforms and tools.
• Manages and implements quality assurance projects to support the pillars of test automation, regression suites, load and performance tests for large volumes of transactions.
• Performs information security risk assessments and analysis to identify areas of risk and develop information security measures and controls for mitigation.
• Reviews quality assurance policies and procedures on annual basis and as and when required.
• Maintains Risk, Issue and Defects register regarding the quality of all products.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualification, Skills and Experience
• A Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.
• A relevant vocational qualification or certification is an added advantage.
• 6 to 8 years' experience in a similar or related environment, with a minimum of 2 years in a Senior Management position.
• Experience in project management in an IS environment is critical.
• Honesty & integrity is a must.
