POSITION: Public Relations Officer
GRADE: D3
Place: Head Office
Applicants are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above mentioned position
Duties and Responsibilities

. Reporting to the Public Relations Manager, the person will be responsible for the following:
• Writing and producing presentations and press releases
• Attends to queries and complaints from clients and stakeholders
• Communicates with media and monitors local newspapers and other media and check publications/articles of the agency
• Monitors and updates websites and social media platforms
• Writing news and features articles for the Press and newsletters
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications and experience
• Degree In Media Studies/ Public Relations/ Journalism
• 1 year post qualification experience
• Sound understanding of operations of National Statistical Office Core competencies
• Good written and oral communication
• Sound knowledge of social media platforms
