Job Description
Job Title : Public Health Intern
Reporting to : Technical Director
Location : Harare with travel to areas of operation
Position Summary
To offer assistance to the Technical Director
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the preparation of the project workplans
• Support collation and review of performance management tools
• Coordinate and maintain contact list for programs-including provincial and district lists
• Prepare program documentation that is accessible.
• Review program reports.
• Support with preparation of program visibility materials e.g. Brochures t-shirts, pamphlets and newsletters.
• Support with the development of social media content.
• Participate in implementing the JFK learning agenda
• Assist in archiving of program documents and success stories
• Prepare program documentation that is accessible and user friendly plus supporting translation into local languages.
• Review of district reports
• Support with preparation of program visibility materials e.g. Brochures t-shirts, pamphlets and newsletters for World Health Days
• Support with the development of social media content (i.e website, twitter..etc)
Qualifications and Experience
Requirements
• Studying towards a Master of Public Health
• Candidate should be on attachment between October 2021 – September 2022
• Excellent computer skills, MS Office and any Statistical Packages
• Ability to stick to work deadlines e.g. punctuality and reports
• Ability and willingness to travel occasionally
