Provincial Coordinator

Job Description

Zimbabwe National Boxing and Wrestling Control Board (ZNBWCB) is an organisation born out of statute with a mandate to oversee and promote the development and promotion of boxing, wrestling, mixed martial arts (MMA) and related activities in Zimbabwe. Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fit the vacancy of the Provincial Coordinator (Midlands). The incumbent reports to Programmes Manager.

The incumbent shall be responsible overall coordination, support, implementation and monitoring of the project activities at the provincial level.

Duties and Responsibilities

❖ Formulates Action Plans for Provincial Programmes.
❖ Tracks Programmes implementation an
❖ Provides technical support in provincial programmes
❖ Manages relationships with stakeholders.
❖ identifies and implements of grants
❖ Evaluates grants throughout implementation process;
❖ Liaises with other District/Provincial Coordinators and other district sport coordinators in scaling up successful interventions;
❖ Manages communications with participating partners and other organisations
❖ Collaborates with other Society partners and stakeholders to facilitate continuity of care and improve on service delivery;
❖ Undertakes regular travel to the districts in order to identify, develop and/or support programming opportunities;
❖ Develops and implements programme monitoring and evaluation processes

Qualifications and Experience

A degree in Sport Science, Social Sciences; Development Studies; Project Management; Public Administration; or an equivalent; Minimum two (2) years of professional experience in the field of community development with increasing levels of responsibility in management;
