PROPERTY MANAGER
Pension Fund Industry Urgent Position
Our Client a leading Pension Fund based in Harare is currently looking for an efficient Property
Manager to manage daily operations of the property portfolio, advertise vacant space, handle tenant
relations and manage new property developments. The job entails managing the Fund's Real Estate
Portfolio with a view to optimise returns and maintain the portfolio in a good state of repair. The position
reports to the Deputy Principal Officer – Finance and Investments and is based in Harare.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement property management strategies.
Prepare and manage budgets for the department.
Conduct market analysis to identify profitable real estate investment opportunities.
Manage property acquisition, leases and property disposals.
Monitor and supervise real estate development projects.
Manage and coordinate maintenance and repairs for all properties in the portfolio.
Negotiate rent reviews and enforce lease agreements.
Manage tenant relationships and resolve disputes.
Maintain and update property records and documentation.
Prepare detailed reports on performance of the properties and make presentations to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and property risk management.
Collaborate with legal and finance teams on rental invoicing, credit control and litigation.
Represent the organisation at relevant real estate forums, and before relevant authorities.
Key Requirements for the Job:
Degree in Property Management / Real Estate or business related degree
Registered Estate Agent
Licensed Member of the Real Estate Institute of Zimbabwe
At least three (3) years' experience in property administration
Key Skills:
This role demands a blend of sharp analytical skills, strong project management skills, keen
negotiation, strong communication, organisational and problem solving skills, and an in depth
understanding of real estate markets and trends.
