An organisation in Harare seeks for a sound property administrator to manage their properties. The Property Administrator will oversee the daily operations of assigned properties, ensuring that all administrative tasks are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Manage property leasing and tenant relations, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues.
• Prepare and maintain property-related documents, including leases, renewals, notices, and reports.
• Coordinate tenant move-ins and move-outs, including inspections and deposit management.
• Track rent payments, late fees.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair requests, ensuring timely resolutions.
• Schedule and manage property inspections and maintenance work.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
• Assist in marketing vacant properties through various channels, including online listings and social media.
• Conduct property tours for prospective tenants.
• Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, credit checks, and lease agreements.
• Ensure all properties comply with all statutory regulations.
• Ensure cleanliness of the whole premises and supervising the cleaner and gardener.
• Keep up to date with changes in landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
• Assist in handling legal notices and evictions when necessary.
• Previous experience in property management or real estate administration is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and any property management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of local property laws and regulations is a plus
