Job Description

The primary responsibility of this position will be assisting the project team leaders with administrative support for the ongoing projects. This task involves project resources disbursement planning, resources and budget tracking. It also involves coordinating key meetings for project stakeholders, and ensuring that project deadlines are met in a timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Project resource planning
• Procuring and disbursement of necessary equipment, materials and manpower needed.
• Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment.
• Ensures supplies and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
• Collaborate with sub-contractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.
• Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements.
• Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites.
• Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
• Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
• Organizing, attending, and participating in stakeholder meetings.
• Documenting and following up on important actions and decisions from meetings.
• Preparing necessary presentation materials for meetings.

• Providing projects administrative support as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Supply Chain Management/ Business Management or a related field from a recognized institution.
• At least two years post qualification work experience.
• Work experience as a Project Administrator, Procurement or similar role within the construction industry.
• A clean class four (4) driver's license with at least 2 years’ experience.
• Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines.
• Integrity and professionalism
