The Project Manager will oversee and manage projects related to waste management. This includes ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
1. Project Planning and Initiation
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Ensure alignment with company objectives and plant operations.
2. Project Execution
- Manage project teams, including contractors and consultants.
- Coordinate permit applications and approvals.
- Oversee procurement and logistics.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
3. Monitoring and Control
- Track project progress, identify and mitigate risks.
- Manage project budget and costs.
- Conduct regular status updates and reports.
4. Closure and Evaluation
- Ensure project completion and handover.
- Conduct post-project evaluations and reviews.
- Identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
1. Education
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil), Project Management, or related field.
- Master Degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.
2. Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in power generation, waste management, or industrial construction.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects.
3. Certifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
4. Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Knowledge of waste-to-energy technologies and environmental regulations.
