Job role
Act as the onsite representative of the company, ensuring that the tribute operator complies fully with the terms of the tribute agreement
Manage day-to-day activities of the project, ensuring all milestones are met according to the project plan.
Track daily and monthly gold production, ore movement, and processing metrics; validate reported figures and raise concerns promptly.
Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Oversee safety performance on site, ensuring the tribute operator adheres to company and statutory HSE policies.
Provide independent assessments and risk alerts to the General Manager – Projects regarding deviations from schedule, and costs.
Participate in mine planning and scheduling reviews; offer technical input to improve efficiency and ore recovery.
Coordinate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
Assign tasks and responsibilities, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all team members.
Compile and submit detailed progress and performance reports to the General Manager – Projects, highlighting opportunities, risks, and compliance issues.
Maintain accurate project documents including reports, records and other relevant materials.
Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the project team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Oversee the management of team performance and ensure consistent application of workplace discipline in accordance with company policies and best practices.
Foster good working relationships with local communities and traditional leaders in line with the company’s community engagement commitments.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Geology/Mining Engineering, or related technical field.
Post graduate qualification in Project Management an added advantage.
