Job Description
To facilitate the implementation of an Emergency Cash Transfer Response project in line with project objectives at District level.
Key duties and Responsibilities
· Meets and discusses district level project activities with the Project Manager.
·Plans weekly, monthly and quarterly project activities and prepares resources requests to carry out project activities for approval by the Project Manager.
·Conducts community, stakeholders and leadership orientation, mobilization and sensitisation meetings.
· Conducts process monitoring at community level on cash transfers, gender and compliance issues, market and Mobile Money Agent activities.
·Conducts Social Analysis and Action assessments, Gender Assessments and Market Assessments in targeted wards
· Tracks market indicators and performance of Mobile Money Agents in operational areas and supports monitoring and evaluation surveys.
· Supports Monitoring and Evaluation Assistants in the supervision of enumerators.
· Coordinates community participation and stakeholder relations at community level.
.Facilitates collaboration with stakeholders, such as Ecocash Agents, Retailers and Traditional leaders.
· Participates in district meetings as assigned by Project Manager.
· Prepares and submits reports to the Project Manager.
·Creates an environment within CARE's workplaces, programming, and communities where CARE works that is free from sexual harassment, sexual abuse and sexual exploitation and child abuse.
Qualifications
Degree in Development Studies/Social Sciences/ Emergency Response or equivalent
At least 2 years plus working experience in Emergency Programming, Food Aid or Cash Transfers.
WFP working experience is an added advantage.
