Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced personnel to fill the above-mentioned position. The incumbents will report to the Supply Chain Managers and will be based at various depots in the Eastern, Northern, and Southern regions.
Duties and Responsibilities
SUMMARY OF KEY DUTIES
Inputs loan recovery and maintenance of the loan book for a cluster of farmers Registration of farmers under stop order facilities for farmers.
Represent the organization at various forum including workshops and field days.
Identify high potential production areas and competent farmers for crop production in both commercial farming and irrigation schemes Inputs disbursements for various contract farming schemes
Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• 5 '0' levels including English Language, Mathematics/Accounts and Science.
• National Diploma in Agriculture or equivalent.
• A minimum of 2 years experience in agriculture extension work.
• Class 3 Driver's Licence (Motorbike)
CORE COMPETENCIES
• Understanding of data analysis and various IT packages
• Knowledge of several contract farming methods
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills
