Job Description
We're seeking a qualified and experienced Wood Technologist to lead our Production team in a growing timber business.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing production processes and achieving targets.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Key Responsibilities:*
- *Planning and Scheduling*: Developing production schedules, timelines, and workflows to meet demand and deadlines.
- *Resource Allocation*: Managing resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize production efficiency.- Achieve set targets
- Oversee manufacture of timber products (doors, pallets, drums)
- *Quality Control*: Ensuring products meet quality standards and implementing quality control measures.
- *Problem-Solving*: Troubleshooting production issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
- *Team Management*: Leading and motivating production teams, providing guidance, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- *Process Improvement*: Continuously evaluating and improving production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

- Qualified Wood Technologist
- Experience in production management
