PRODCUCTION CONTROLLER
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties
Production planning in liaison with Sales and Marketing team
Ensuring production efficiencies
Planning and evaluating the activities of subordinates on a continual basis
Projecting and implementing production budgets
Schedule service of equipment and ensuring safety in the workplace
Be the brand Ambassador of the business by ensuring only quality products are despatched from the factory
The person
Ideally must be a qualified and experienced Wood and Timber professional. He/She must be sharp, a good listener, and able to lead a team of diverse staff to achieve set goals and efficiencies to the best advantage of the business. The Candidate must have worked in a reputable manufacturing business producing hardwood and soft wood doors and other timber products with terminal responsibility for the effectiveness and overall performance of the Production Team.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications
Degree/Diploma in Wood or Timber technology. In addition, a qualification in business and/or administration is a key advantage
