Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates to fill the following positions which have arisen within the Insurance and Pensions Commission Harare

PROCUREMENT OFFICER

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
• Procurement of goods and services in accordance with the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (Chapter 22:23)
• Selecting and recommending appropriate methods Of procurement
• Preparing bidding documents and tender evaluation reports.
• Preparing annual and individual procurement Plans.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual procurement returns.
• Processing of requisitions. sourcing quotations and raising procurement orders for the Commission
• Supervising procurement contracts or overseeing their execution
• Drafting contract documents and their amendments
• Ensuring thorough market research so that goods and services ore procured at the most economical prices commensurate. the quality required
• Selecting and recommending appropriate method of disposal.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Procurement Manager

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES
 Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain/Management or equivalent
 At least three years experience in Pub. Sector procurement
 Knowledge of SAP is a distinct advantage
 CIPS membership Is o must
 High level of integrity
 Clean Class 4 drivers
