Job Description
Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe's Ferrochrome Production, has some exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Mining Division.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following vacant positions on a renewable fixed term contract basis.
Duties and Responsibilities
Procurement Manager
(Mining Division)
Reporting to the Group Supplies Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement function for the Mining Division.
KEYPERFORMANCE AREAS
• Managing the Procurement and stores sections to ensure delivery of goods and services in time.
• Administration of warehouses, ensuring zero shrinkages.
• Warehouse security management and systems controls.
• Management of scrap material.
• Management of the distribution of fuel within company.
• SHE Management and compliance to the NOSA Five Star Integrated System.
Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Purchasing and Supply, Procurement or Equivalent from reputable institutions with at least 3 years post graduate lea mership experience in a mining or manufacturing environment.
• A professional qualification such as CI PS will be an added advantage.
• Working knowledge of SAP Materials Management module a distinct advantage.
• Demonstrable knowledge of a recognised SHE system, preferably NOSA.
• High levels of communication and sound interpersonal skills.
