Bindura rural council would like to recruit employees for the Following posts: Procurement Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities


Reporting to the procurement officer

DUTIES
> Receiving and processing requests from departments D Preparing purchase orders and send copies to suppliers and accounts for payment
> Maintenance of procurement records
> Organizing Procurement meetings
> Sourcing of quotations and preparation of comparative schedules
> Procurement and disposal of council materials, consumables and services in accordance to the Act and regulations.
> Assist in the preparation of bidding documents

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS
> 5 0' Levels including Mathematics and English
> A degree in Purchasing and supply or equivalent
> Relevant diploma will be an added advantage
> Computer Literate and holder of drivers license
> Knowledge of the Procurement and disposal of Pubic Assets Act [ Chapter 22:23]
> Age 22 to 50 years
> At least 1 year experience
