Job Description
The above position which reports to the Production Manager has fallen vacant and applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons.
Duties and Responsibilities
Major Activities: Process design, trouble shooting, optimization and development , Product development, evaluation and management ,Managing costs and budgetary controls, Monitoring technological advancements of benefit to the company and initiating adoption ,Supervise and train subordinate staff in the department. Any other duties as assigned by superiors
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications & Experience: ► A University degree that majors in Chemical Engineering, process technology, minerals processing or any related field; ►A managerial or supervisory qualification is a distinct advantage. ► Have at least 2 years experience in a chemical, minerals, or other process industry; ► Be mature, highly self-motivated self starter and able to work with minimum supervision; ► Demonstrate leadership capabilities and possess good communication and interaction skills; ► Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems will be an added advantage.
