Mega Market (Pvt) Ltd is inviting applications from suitably qualified, experienced, and highly motivated individuals to fill the position of Process Electrician based at the Head Office in Mutare.
Job Purpose
The main objective of the role is to ensure maximum plant and equipment availability through the effective execution of planned and breakdown maintenance activities, thereby supporting the achievement of production targets.
Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Electrical Foreman, the successful applicant will, among other duties, be responsible for:
❖ Carrying out machine and equipment planned and breakdown maintenance to ensure optimum plant availability and achievement of production targets.
❖ Conducting and documenting routine machine and equipment inspections.
❖ Assisting machine operators during equipment start-up and commissioning activities.
❖ Monitoring the performance of machines and equipment during production and addressing any electrical faults.
❖ Generating maintenance reports and other necessary documentation as required by the supervisor.
❖ Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with all Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures.
❖ Performing any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Experience, and Personal Attributes
The ideal candidate must possess:
A Journeyman Class One certificate in Electrical Engineering
❖ A minimum of five (5) 'O' Levels including Mathematics, English and Science.
❖ At least two years’ experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
❖ Sound knowledge of electrical maintenance systems, fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
❖ Good interpersonal and communication skills.
❖ Ability to work under pressure and respond to breakdowns promptly.
❖ Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
❖ Self-motivated, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision.
