Cimas invites applications from experienced, qualified candidates for the strategic role of Principal Officer at Cimas Medical Aid Society. This position provides leadership for the Medical Aid Fund and oversees Business Development and Marketing functions for the organization, in close collaboration with the Group CEO.

Job Summary
Cimas Medical Aid Society is dedicated to promoting healthier communities through global standard health and wellness solutions. In pursuit of this purpose, Cimas seeks a dynamic Principal Officer to lead Cimas Medical Aid Society in fulfilling its objectives. The role involves managing the administration of the Cimas Medical Aid Society, ensuring member interests are prioritized, and driving the strategic direction of the organization in consultation with the Board of Trustees and the Fund Administrator. Additionally, the Principal Officer will oversee Cimas's Marketing and Public Relations portfolio, ensuring brand alignment and strategic market presence in line with organizational goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
• Define and execute the strategic direction for Cimas Medical Aid Society by translating Fund rules and objectives into actionable operational plans.
• Regularly update and report on Cimas Medical Aid Society's performance to the Board of Trustees.
• Analyse economic and financial conditions and identify relevant trends and advising the Board on necessary actions
• Oversee the creation and execution of the Annual Business Development Plan to achieve targets for membership, revenue, surplus, and retention.
• Lead the development and implementation of sound corporate governance practices for the Cimas Fund.
• Align and implement Business Development and Marketing strategies with organizational objectives.
• Manage Cimas's corporate marketing assets, including the website and social media platforms, ensuring they reflect the latest updates and strategic focus.

The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage employees, members, and the wider community, strategic and operational planning expertise, with a focus on long-term sustainability, excellent communication skills for complex information presentation and stakeholder engagement, and analytical skills to address strategic issues and ensure financial and operational health.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Finance, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.
• Postgraduate qualification in Business Administration, Business Leadership, or an equivalent field
