Duties and Responsibilities - Poultry farmers identification, registration and verification; Technical trainings and support visits of farmers to ensure good agricultural practices; Help in development of poultry business; Assist in the establishment of green technologies to poultry farmers; Support and participate in the development and establishment of poultry value chains; Identification of lead farmers, feed formulation cropping inputs distribution and monitoring; Stakeholder coordination and appraisal of project progress; Reporting (weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly on activities); Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, skills and experience required
Diploma or Degree in Agriculture/Animal Science/ Agricultural economics;2 years’ experience in agriculture extension with relevance in poultry value chains (poultry production, feed, poultry drugs, processing or marketing), Drivers’ license and being able to ride a motorcycle.
