Job Description
The incumbent will be responsible for delivering mail in all Zimpost prvt lmtd designated areas.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Sorts mail accurately and prepare it for delivery in accordance with set procedures and service standards.
• Delivers all mail for the designated area in accordance with set procedures and service standards.
• Collects and records delivery information accurately and keeps it up to date and carry out assigned tasks effectively to support the smooth running of the delivery site
• Sells retail products and accounts for cash as per Zimpost cash handling procedures
• Deals with customers and others courteously and helpfully and in a way that reflects the desired image of Zimpost.
• Takes good care of the work materials and equipment used.
• Ensures regular maintenance of company vehicles (motor bike) including keeping proper records of distances travelled, refueling and servicing.
• Follows the company’s health and safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
• 5 ‘O’ levels including English language
• A clean class 3 driver’s license
• A valid defensive certificate is an added advantage
• At least 1 year experience as a messenger and 2 years driving experience.
