Job Description
A position has arisen in our organization and we need a Mechanical engineer to manage a Gold mine. Over 10 years experience is need in a similar role. Knowledge of Metallurgy will be an added advantage.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Production output, crushing milling and gold production
2. Overseeing contractors on the day to day production
3. Maintenance of plant equipment
4. Plan, organize, direct, process optimum day to day plant operations
5. Ensure that that plant health and safety procedures and standards are maintained.
6. Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimum results
7. Develop systems and optimize productivity standards and performance
Qualifications and Experience
1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering
2. Knowledge of Business Management principles (Budgeting/ Strategy/ HR)
3. Regional or International exposure is required
4. 12 years experience in the field
5. 5 years experience as a plant manager
