The University of Zimbabwe is inviting applications for the following vacant position:

Photographer/Videographer (1 Post)

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidates would be responsible for:

• shooting photographs on behalf of University’s sections and units;
• editing pictures and video footage;
• procurement of photographic equipment and consumables;
• mounting photographic displays;
• shooting and processing of staff and student identity cards;
• quality control, providing photographic advice to university sections and units and any other duties assigned by the Director of Marketing and Communications.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
Applicants must possess the following
• A degree in Media; Journalism or Creative Arts and Design.
• A Diploma in Photography or City and Guilds in Photography.
• 5 “O” levels passes including English language.
• Excellent skills in Photography/Videography, Video and Photo Editing.
• At least two years post- qualification experience in a similar or related position.
• Knowledge of software – Corel draw, Photoshop and Graphic designing is an added advantage.
• Applicants should be highly computer literate and should have solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Picture Manager, Email, Ms – Word, Excel
