Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Personal Assistant to Director General which has arisen in our organization
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will report to the Director General. The duties will include:-
Managing and reviewing office systems, including data management and filing
Managing the Director General’s diary, planning and organizing meetings
Answering calls, receiving visitors and liaising with the Board ,clients and staff
Attending meetings , writing minutes and following up on action plans
Typing, compiling and preparing reports, presentations, briefing papers and correspondence
Organizing travel and preparing complex travel itineraries for the Director General
Planning and organizing events
Handling incoming and outgoing mail
Sourcing and ordering stationery, office equipment and other office supplies
Reminding the Director General of important tasks and deadlines
Qualifications and Experience
1. 5 O’ levels including Maths and English
2. At least 7 years in a similar position
3. Diploma in Secretarial Studies
4. Degree in Office Administration & Management or equivalent
5. Master’s Degree (an added advantage)
6. Proficient with MS-office packages
