Job Description

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT OFFICER
The incumbent will report to the Head Human Resources and Administration and will be responsible for the following, among other duties:

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
 Design, implement and monitor Performance Management to enable employees and teams understanding of the goals of the company.
 To establish and support the relationship between strategic business objectives and people’s day-to-day activities and tasks by implementing a process for tracking progression from goal setting, mid-year reviews and end of year evaluations to support individual, team and organizational performance
 Undertake analysis and produce recommendations to drive improvements in performance management in the company.
 Coordinate targeted communication and capacity building programs in the performance management process to enable managers to effectively evaluate and measure individual and team performance and to optimize performance and productivity
 Train and communicate the strategic vision, scope, priorities, processes, systems and tools of the performance management unit to all Zimpost employees.
 Provide proposals and data to inform the Strategic Planning Cycle and devise the performance report framework for subsequent delivery plans.
 Liaise with the management and contribute to the design, implementation and management of effective reward programs to staff contributions.
 Provide summary data for annual report and any other performance management audits requirements.
 Cooperate with the training unit, contribute to the design, implementation and management employee development and talent management initiatives to address performance gaps
 Contribute to the design, implementation and management of wide performance training/capacity building for employees within the company.
 Coordinate the implementation of key performance measures, core competencies and core values into performance appraisal system

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications and Experience
 University degree in Social Sciences or Equivalent
 Post graduate qualification e.g. MBA, MBL or
Professional qualification in Human Resources Management or performance management is an added advantage.
 2 years relevant work experience in implementing performance improvement programs.
 Good communication skills
