Zimasco (Pvt) Limited, a major player in Zimbabwe’s Ferrochrome Production, has exciting and challenging career opportunities at its Smelter in Kwekwe. Applications are invited from
suitably qualified, competent and experienced persons to fill the following positions on a fixedterm contract basis.
Paste Team Leader
Grade : FA 10
Duties and Responsibilities
• Measure liquid level and height
• Determine paste demand
• Operate paste hoist
• Order paste cylinders
• Supervise paste handlers
• Ensure canvas covers are in good condition
• Ensure electrodes are always covered when there is no pasting
taking place
• Ensure good housekeeping in all your working areas
Qualifications and Experience
• At least 3 `O` Level passes.
• At least 3 years’ experience in the Casting Bay
• Slinging experience a distinct advantage
Commendable safety and disciplinary record
