Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking Parts Picker to join our logistics and warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for locating, picking, packing, and preparing spare parts and heavy machinery components for customer orders, branch transfers, and internal mechanical servicing. You will play a crucial role in ensuring inventory accuracy, timely order fulfillment, and seamless warehouse operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Order Picking & Assembly: Accurately pull spare parts, components, and hardware from warehouse shelves using pick lists or electronic warehouse management systems.
Packing & Labeling: Safely pack, crate, and label parts for delivery or dispatch, ensuring fragile or high-value heavy machinery components are secured against damage.
Inventory Control: Conduct routine stock counts, report low inventory levels, and notify supervisors of missing, misplaced, or damaged stock.
Receiving & Storing: Assist with offloading inbound shipments, verifying part numbers against delivery notes, and organizing items into their designated bin or rack locations.
Equipment & Safety: Safely operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks) and adhere strictly to all occupational health and safety standards.
Documentation: Complete picking logs, update inventory records, and ensure proper handover documentation for dispatch drivers or counter sales personnel.
Facility Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the parts department.
Qualifications and Experience
Education: High school diploma, O-Levels, or equivalent vocational training.
Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a warehouse picker, parts runner, or storekeeper (experience with heavy equipment or automotive spare parts is a strong plus).
Physical Capability: Ability to lift heavy objects , stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor safely.
