Responsible for overseeing all mining operations and ensuring a safe working environment.
Duties and Responsibilities

Direct and monitor all mining activities and ensure everything is done according to plan
Oversee pit activities and ensure the right size of stones are loaded for processing at plant
Coordinate mining activities with plant operator to ensure efficient production process
Manage, lead, control and motivate team in area of responsibility
Ensure a safe working environment according to regulations
Produce reports on all mining and related activities
Coordinate all drilling and blasting activities
Formulate mining plan to achieve production targets
Qualifications and Experience

Full Blasting Licence is a must
At least 5 years mining experience, with at least 2 in a similar position
Quarry experience is a distinct advantage
Ability to work in fast-paced environment & flexible to work outside normal working hours
Should be willing to stay at site 40km away from Harare
