About the Job
We are looking for an experienced Overseer Miner to join our Mining Development team. This position reports to the Shift Boss.
Duties and Responsibilities
Roles & Responsibilities
• Ensures compliance to SHEQ policies and procedures in line with all relevant mining regulations.
• Plans, coordinates and leads sectional activities with the objective of meeting set targets.
• Performs daily ends preparation, marking, drilling, charging and blasting operations.
• Optimises production through the utilisation of resources, motivation and development of personnel.
• Achieves benchmarked efficiencies and productivities in drilling, blasting, supporting and lashing activities.
• Reports on set daily targets and compliance to short-term plans.
• Performs any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications and Experience
About You
• Diploma in Mining
• Full Blasting Licence
• NEC Registered
• 4 Years experience
