Job Description

The above position has arisen to support our client’s Human Resources Department in delivering initiatives that help shape and deliver continuous programs for change in the organisation. The successful candidate will report to the Human Resources Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contributing to designing, raising awareness, implementation and monitoring of a performance management system.
• Reviewing, analyzing, and monitoring performance management results and producing monthly reports for review by the Human Resources Manager.
• Developing and implementing performance improvement and capacity building plans.
• Identifying Learning and Development needs within the organisation through job analysis, performance management review and regular consultation with line managers and human resources.
• Designing and expanding Training and Development programs based on the needs of the individual or team and organisation.
• Liaising with training providers to ensure appropriate training, setup and equipment requirements are provided.
• Identifying challenges, gaps and opportunities that impact on organisational and cultural change.
• Contributing to the development of organizational development policies and procedures to ensure they are relevant, up to date and reflective of best practice.
• Contributing to the restructuring of departments when need arises to increase efficiency and align activities with business objectives
• Designing and delivering in-house briefings, workshops and other required course materials and other documents such as handouts, manuals, and exercises.
• Coordinating and monitoring the implementation of training matrix and budget throughout the year.
• Collecting and analyzing training data to identify areas of effectiveness, return on investment, cost benefit analysis and any areas for improvement for reporting purposes.
• Developing, monitoring, and reviewing progress of the group induction and traineeship program.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree (minimum) Industrial Psychology, or relevant equivalent.
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient collaborative and analytical skills.
• Results oriented, excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
