Operations Retail Controller

Job Summary


A leading organisation in the manufacturing, distribution and service industry seeks the services of an astute and talented Operations Controller focusing on Retail clients to join their team, reporting to the Operations Manager. Key responsibilities include the execution of the retail contract in a way that enables organic growth and client retention.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for sound execution of cleaning standards and personnel tracking
• Raise and follow up on instructions according to contract conditions
• Reporting on-site inspections for adherence of company SOPs
• Ensuring training of all staff in safety issues and advising them on protective clothing and equipment where necessary
• Follow ups on financial reporting of clients
• Stock management and evaluation for sites
• Logistics management for retail personnel and HR related aspects

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Environmental Health and or Public Health
• Environmental Health Practicing Certificate
• 3 years minimum experience at middle managerial level
• Class 4 Drivers license


• Clear communication, effective planning and strong commitment to successful execution
• Strong retail knowledge and problem solving skills
• Computer literate (MS Office)
• Able to cope with high pressure and provide quality customer service
• Pro-active and dynamic into looking for opportunities to improve operations
