*OPERATIONS MANAGER*
The Global Agribusiness Professionals Institute (GABPI) is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day trucking operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day fleet operations, including dispatch and route planning
- Coordinate and manage drivers, including scheduling and performance monitoring
- Oversee vehicle maintenance scheduling and ensure fleet roadworthiness
- Manage client relationships and ensure service delivery meets contractual obligations
- Monitor fuel usage, costs, and operational efficiency across the fleet
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards
- Report regularly to the business owner on fleet performance and operational issues
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience
*We are looking for a candidate who:*
- Holds a degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, or a related field
- Has a minimum of 5 years' experience in an operational role within a logistics or fleet management company
- Holds a valid driver's licence
