Job Purpose
This role is required to proactively manage the loan portfolio book focusing on accounts in arrears with an emphasis on customer retention, education and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Analyse the customer's financial position and determine the best course of action with the aim to recover delinquent exposures through promises to pay and rehabilitate the client.
Action, track and monitor rehabilitation accounts managing call activities (incoming calls and outgoing) effectively; and dealing with the minimum required accounts per day
Provide accurate and integrated data on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to enable analysis in order to highlight efficiency gains and identify adverse trends requiring management interventions that consequently assist in achieving set targets and credit process efficiencies.
Comply with statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements by understanding the scope and limitation of the collection role, to protect the reputation of the company and to avoid legal action/sanction in respect of regulatory compliance matters
Minimum Qualification and Experience
Computer Literate with a minimum Diploma in Banking
