ZIMCARE TRUST is a Private Voluntary Organization (P.V.O) 57/82 with a non-profit making agenda which provides specialized education and cares for persons with intellectual challenges. Age groups that the organization caters for range between 6 and 17 years as well as young adults from 18years and above in which the former are taught basic literacy while the latter are trained on life skills. The organization has 14 schools/ centers nationwide namely in Bulawayo, Midlands, Harare, Chitungwiza, Masvingo, Manicaland and Mashonaland West The organization seeks to engage nurse aides on a voluntary basis for Ratidzo Special school in Masvingo province. The main duties for the advertised vacant post are as follows:
Duties and Responsibilities
Main duties
• To assist the teacher in the classroom;
• To help where the children are still without basic self-help skills;
• To assist when children get attacks in the classroom;
• To be responsible for the good behavior of the class when the teacher is out;
• To assist with the supervision of the child during recreation period;
• To perform ascot duties in the bus;
• To perform any other lawful duties as may be delegated by the center head.
