Job Description

Great Zimbabwe University, an equal opportunity employer, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following post that has arisen within the institution:

Duties and Responsibilities

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Teaching piano and keyboard lessons;
• Teaching the use of wind instruments;
• Teaching choral music;
• Teaching theory of western music; and
• Teaching the use of African instruments.

Qualifications and Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The applicant should be a holder of an equivalent of ABRSM Grade 5 Piano proficiency certificate. An ability to competently play a wide range of Western musical instruments including wind instruments will be an added advantage. In addition, the applicant should be a holder of Grade 8 Theory of Music Certificate.
