The candidate will be responsible for attending to and solving mechanical faults and ensuring that scheduled and routine maintenance is carried out on all the Mixer and Tipper trucks.
• Performing regular, preventative and scheduled maintenance on mixer trucks, tipper trucks
• Maintaining vehicle service records
• Replacing the vehicles’ engine, transmission, steering mechanism or braking system
• Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing: Identifying mechanical issues and repairing faults promptly
• Attending to breakdown
• Recommending, ordering and maintaining inventory of equipment and spare parts
• Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Attained Journeyman Class 1
- Possess class 2 Driver's licence
- At least 5 years working experience
- Knowledge of SINO trucks, Tipper and Mixer Trucks A MUST
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
- Strong diagnostic and problem skills
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written)
